Inaugura giovedì 13 aprile la 27ma Fiera di Miart e con lei ci sarà una lunga serie di eventi laterali ad abbellire e stimolare la bella Milano.

La fiera internazionale d’arte moderna e contemporanea organizzata da Fiera Milano e diretta da Nicola Ricciardi

Con il suo titolo Crescendo miart 2023 conferma anche la distribuzione degli spazi in tre sezioni: per dare risalto alla ricerca delle più recenti generazioni di galleristi e artisti, con Emergent, la sezione a cura di Attilia Fattori Franchini dedicata a 26 giovani gallerie; si prosegue quindi con Established, la sezione principale che ospita 133 gallerie che espongono opere della più stretta contemporaneità assieme a quelle dedicate all’arte del XX secolo, non tralasciando quelle attive nel settore del design da collezione e d’autore; a completare il percorso Decades, la sezione a cura di Alberto Salvadori che esplora la storia del secolo scorso attraverso 10 progetti monografici dagli anni ’10 del Novecento agli anni ’10 del Duemila.

Tra alcune delle gallerie straniere interessanti che parteciperanno e che vi consiglio ci sono quest’anno Crèvecoeur Parigi, Mai 36 Zurich, ChertLüdde Berlino , Madragoa Lisbona, Esther Schipper Berlino Seul, Richard Saltoun London.

FUORI CITTA’

Stefano Arienti presenta Meridiane: opere su carta ricalcano il tracciato del sole, illuminando la stanza dell’artista. Meridiane fa parte di un ciclo di opere iniziato nel 2012. Una mostra di LCA Studio Legale nell’ambito del decennale progetto Law is Art! a Palazzo Borromeo. Partner: Antonini Milano, Apice, ARTE Generali.

Flavio Favelli ha più mostre in giro per la città: Le Macchine presso LoroMilano in via Ugo Bassi e con I Trenta al MudeC Museo delle Culture. La mostra “Rainbow. Colori e meraviglie tra miti arti e scienza” esce fuori dagli spazi museali per entrare nello spazio pubblico. Con un murale Flavio Favelli reinterpreta trenta passaporti di diversi paesi del mondo, riprodotti al tratto in una gamma di colori che richiama il gradiente dell’arcobaleno.

Claire Fontaine presenta l’installazione Cancel patriarchy in dialogo con Flavio Favelli che inaugura il dipinto murale I Trenta nel cortile tra MUDEC e BASE. L’installazione è composta da due scritte LED del collettivo ricontestualizzate nella Ground Hall di BASE. Affermando che il patriarcato uccide (l’amore) e che siamo tutte donne clitoridee, l’artista ci regala parole che ci interpellano, ci sollecitano, ci provocano. “Il patriarcato infatti siamo noi”, afferma l’artista, “e sta a ciascuno e ciascuna sbarazzarsene partendo dai propri sentimenti e dal proprio bisogno d’amore e di vita insoddisfatto”.

Alessandro Carano. Sette quadri con i chiodini quercetti a cura di Filippo Percassi. Chi non ha giocato con i mitici chiodini della ditta italianissima Quercetti?

Nathlie Provosty. Alla Fondazione ICA con What a fool ever to be tricked into seriousness. Il lavoro di Provosty analizza matericità e percezione. Per la sua prima mostra personale istituzionale in Europa, l’artista presenta un nuovo corpus di dipinti a olio mai esposti. Tutte le opere utilizzano un linguaggio immediato e seducente, evocando elementi legati all’artista, alla storia dell’arte o al mondo naturale cosí come a esperienze di vita soggettive. La mostra, realizzata in collaborazione con APALAZZOGALLERY, Brescia IT, è accompagnata da una performance musicale sperimentale dell’artista e compositore newyorkese Gryphon Rue.

Presso la Galleria Francesca Minini Sol Calero in Casa Encontrada, mostra site specifi dei suoi coloratissimi dipinti.

Al PAC la mostra personale di Yuri Ancarani Lascia Stare I Sogni a cura di Diego Sileo e Iolanda Ratti. Seduzione, distrazione, disorientamento sono solo alcune delle modalità adottate da Ancarani per entrare in risonanza con lo spazio espositivo, attraverso una geografia immaginifica di frammenti di realtà.

MIART art week 2023

The 27th Miart Fair opens on Thursday 13 April and with it there will be a long series of side events to embellish and stimulate the beautiful Milan.

The international modern and contemporary art fair organized by Fiera Milano and directed by Nicola Ricciardi

With its title Crescendo miart 2023 also confirms the distribution of spaces into three sections: to highlight the research of the most recent generations of gallery owners and artists, with Emergent, the section curated by Attilia Fattori Franchini dedicated to 26 young galleries; we then continue with Established, the main section that houses 133 galleries exhibiting works of the strictest contemporary age together with those dedicated to 20th century art, not forgetting those active in the sector of collectible and authorial design; to complete the path Decades, the section curated by Alberto Salvadori that explores the history of the last century through 10 monographic projects from the 10s of the twentieth century to the 10s of the new millennium.

OUT OF TOWN

Stefano Arienti presents Sundials: works on paper trace the path of the sun, illuminating the artist’s room. Meridiane is part of a cycle of works that began in 2012. An exhibition by LCA Studio Legale as part of the ten-year project Law is Art! at Palazzo Borromeo. Partners: Antonini Milan, Apice, ARTE Generali.

Flavio Favelli has more exhibitions around the city: Le Macchine at LoroMilano in via Ugo Bassi and with I Trenta at the MudeC Museo delle Culture. The exhibition “Rainbow. Colors and wonders between myths, arts and science” leaves the museum spaces to enter the public space. With a mural, Flavio Favelli reinterprets thirty passports from different countries of the world, reproduced in lines in a range of colors that recall the gradient of the rainbow.

Claire Fontaine presents the installation Cancel patriarchy in dialogue with Flavio Favelli who inaugurates the mural painting The Thirty in the courtyard between MUDEC and BASE. The installation consists of two LED writings of the collective recontextualized in the Ground Hall of BASE. Stating that patriarchy kills (love) and that we are all clitoral women, the artist gives us words that challenge us, solicit us, provoke us. “In fact, we are the patriarchy”, says the artist, “and it is up to each and every one to get rid of it starting from one’s own feelings and from one’s own unsatisfied need for love and life”.

Alessandro Carano. Seven paintings with small oak nails by Filippo Percassi. Who hasn’t played with the legendary nails of the very Italian company Quercetti?

Nathlie Provosty. To the ICA Foundation with What a fool ever to be tricked into seriousness. Provosty’s work analyzes materiality and perception. For his first institutional solo exhibition in Europe, the artist presents a new corpus of never-exhibited oil paintings. All the works use an immediate and seductive language, evoking elements related to the artist, art history or the natural world as well as subjective life experiences. The exhibition, created in collaboration with APALAZZOGALLERY, Brescia IT, is accompanied by an experimental musical performance by the New York artist and composer Gryphon Rue.

At the Francesca Minini Sol Calero Gallery in Casa Encontrada, specific site displays of her colorful paintings.

At PAC the personal exhibition of Yuri Ancarani Leave Dreams Stay curated by Diego Sileo and Iolanda Ratti. Seduction, distraction, disorientation are just some of the ways Ancarani has adopted to resonate with the exhibition space, through an imaginative geography of fragments of reality.
