Anno nuovo e si ricomincia! buon 2023!!!
ArteFiera 2-5 Febbraio.
Anche quest’anno si terrà la Fiera di Arte Contemporanea a Bologna durante il primo fine settimana di febbraio, come consueto. Gli eventi saranno tanti, sia nei padiglioni 25-26 della fiera di Bologna che in città.
Bologna città – Art City 2023
Aperta dal 3 dicembre e sul finire, la bellissima mostra A View From a Window di Patrick Procktor a Palazzo Bentivoglio che ho già recensito. Mostra i disegni e acquarelli di un artista andato un pò nel dimenticatoi, ma alla stregua dei sui amici colleghi David Hockney, Francis Bacon o Lucian Freud.
Genus Bononiae – Fattori. L’umanità tradotta in pittura a Palazzo Fava aperta fino al 1 Maggio una particolare mostra di Giovanni Fattori che vuole ripercorrere il lavoro del grande artista toscano. Tra il più grande dei Macchiaioli ed artista a cavallo tra 1800 e 1900. A cura di Claudia Fulgheri, Elisabetta Matteucci e Francesca Panconi ed in collaborazione con Istituto Matteucci.
Al LabOratorio degli Angeli l’evento site specific di Eva Marisaldi. Guarda Caso. Molto interessante la scelta di essere una sede espositiva in un vero laboratorio di restauro presso la chiesa ed oratorio di Santa Maria degli Angeli sotto la curatela di Leonardo Regano.
Un altra chiesa trasformata in sede espositiva e sempre con progetti molto interessanti è l’Oratorio di San Filippo Neri quest’anno sotto la curatela di Cristina Francucci e Tatiana Basso con Lucy + Jorge Orta. Seeking Blue Gold del duo anglo-argentino. L’ACQUA il vero oro-blu un bene primario inestimabile di cui non possiamo assolutamente fare a meno. E’ visitabile fino al 12 febbraio.
Al MAMbo – Museo Arte Moderna Bologna è possibile visitare la mostra di Yuri Ancarani Atlantide 2017 – 2023. La mostra dell’ artista visivo e artista è a cura di Lorenzo Balbi con partnership, tra le altre, del PAC Milano, Gruppo Hera e del Trust per l’Arte Contemporanea. Una narrazione immersiva nei suoi video di Venezia, sotto i ponti, di notte… E incredibile la grande sala con i led incrociati. Ancarani è anche protagonista della prima edizione di Led Wall Commission, che vedrà la presenza all’ingresso di Piazza Costituzione di un mega-schermo di 5×9 metri su cui saranno visibili suoi contenuti video.
Fondazione Furla con la curatela di Bruna Roccasalva ospita il collettivo israeliano Public Movement fondato da Omer Krieger e Dana Yahalomi nel 2006 e che quest’anno presenta la performance Rescue.
Sabato 4 dalle 20 alla mezzanotte si terrà la Art City White Night con tutti gli spazi aperti durante la serata.

Bologna city events – Art City 2023
Open from 3 December and closing to its end, the beautiful exhibition A View From a Window by Patrick Procktor at Palazzo Bentivoglio which I have already reviewed. It shows the drawings and watercolors of an artist who has gone somewhat into oblivion, but like his fellow friends David Hockney, Francis Bacon or Lucian Freud he’s very capable!
With Genus Bononiae – Farmers.
