Il Latte dei Sogni / The Milk of Dreams
Inaugura questa settimana la 59a Esposizione Internazionale d’Arte della Biennale di Venezia che resterà aperta fino al 27 novembre 2022. Finalmente in presenza ed aperta al pubblico.
C’è una scelta di selezionare tante artiste donna da parte di Cecilia Alemani curatrice della rassegna che ha sempre lavorato con tante artiste. Per esempio Simon Leigh (vincitrice del Leone d’Oro per miglior artista) è un’artista con cui collabora molto a NY ed ha scelto di posizionare il suo Brick House all’inizio delle Corderie dell’Arsenale il gigantesco busto in bronzo o come Katharina Fritsch che riceverà il Leone d’Oro alla Carriera porta il suo Elefante all’ingresso dei Giardini. Tacita Dean portoghese ma di base a Londra. Maria Prymatchenko ucraina è in mostra nel Padiglione Centrale ai Giardini Scare Crow dopo l’elefante, sarebbe stata in una capsula Storica di Cecilia Alemani per la sua poetica. Dagli anni ’40 crea disegni e guaches naives con animali e creature misteriose mescolate con la natura. Interessanti i titoli che lei sceglie, sembrano infantili ma in realtà sono crudeli e ricordano l’oppressione e le guerre che lei ha vissuto.
Il Latte dei Sogni – come titolo della mostra – trae ispirazione da questa e altre opere surrealiste di Leonora Carrington (1917-2011). La missione di Cecilia Alemani è sul post-umano. In un mondo in cui il confine tra umano e non è labile, arriva l’arte a farci riflettere. Chiama in causa la contemporaneità stretta e tematiche universali – dall’identità di genere al rapporto sempre più conflittuale fra uomo e natura, fino alla dialettica corpo-tecnologia e crea anche delle Capsule Storiche o del tempo collocate nel Padiglione Centrale che rappresentano artiste.
Padiglione Italia
Gian Maria Tosatti (nato 1981) artista unico e curatela di Eugenio Viola: abituato a lavorare su opere ambientali, Tosatti da solo sa cimentarsi bene con un padiglione unico a sua disposizione. Il percorso espositivo si snoda sulle note di Gino Paoli e Ornella Vanoni attraverso Storia della Notte e Destino delle Comete. Spazi industriali con macchinari e poi ambientazioni tipiche delle case italiane, pavimentazioni, lampadari, fino all’ultima stanza buia…
Fuori Biennale
La galleria Massimo Minini presenta Anish Kapoor alle Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia e Palazzo Manfrin, dove aprirà la Anish Kapoor Fundation. La mostra curata da Taco Dibbits che presenta opere realizzate con il Vantablack il colore nero registrato da Kapoor che assorbe il 99,6% di luce. Impossibile capire la profondità di ogni opera!!
Anselm Kiefer che, tra il 2020 e il 2021, ha preparato un nuovo ciclo di dipinti pensati appositamente per Palazzo Ducale titolo da una frase del filosofo veneto Andrea Emo Capodilista: Questi scritti, quando verranno bruciati, daranno finalmente un po’ di luce.
Sempre da visitare la retrospettiva di Marlene Dumas a Palazzo Grassi ripercorre la carriera dell’artista sudafricana dal 1984 a oggi, con 100 delle sue opere in open-end.
Palazzo Cini con una personale dedicata a Joseph Beuys a cura di Luca Massimo Barbero. La mostra prende il nome dall’opera principale esposta Supporto per la schiena di un essere umano finamente articolato (tipo lepre) del XX secolo d.C. (Backrest for a fine-limbed person (hare-type) of the 20th Century AD).
Zuecca Project presenta Hermann Nitsch appena scomparso con la 20th Painting Action, cioè la ventesima azione pittorica realizzata per la Wiener Secession del 1987. Si tratta dell’unica “azione” dell’artista le cui opere di una sola collezione, quella di Helmut Essl, possibile grazie alla Galerie Kandlhofer e la Hermann Nitsch Foundation.
Lo studio d’artista come spazio di lavoro e creazione in Contrapposto Studies in Bruce Nauman curato da Carlos Basualdo e Caroline Bourgeois a Punta della Dogana.
Sempre per ricordarci cosa succede in Ucraina, l’artista Louise Nevelson (1899-1988) con le sue grandi installazioni di grandi dimensioni, ma anche opere bianche e oro alle Procuratorie Vecchie.
Bosco Sodi a Palazzo Vendramin Grimani a Venezia. Una residenza d’arte aperta al pubblico in cui Sodi ha lavorato per preparare per esempio le sue 195 sfere in materiali naturali (come gli stati) da inserire nei saloni del palazzo, a contrasto il magnifico lampadario di Murano.

The 59th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale opens this week and will remain open until November 27, 2022. Finally in presence and open to the public.
Cecilia Alemani, curator of the exhibition, has always chosen to select many female artists and has always worked with many female artists. Il Latte dei Sogni – as the title of the exhibition – draws inspiration from this and other surrealist works by Leonora Carrington (1917-2011). Cecilia Alemani’s mission is on the post-human. In a world where the boundary between human and non-human is blurred, art comes to make us reflect. You call into question the close contemporaneity and universal themes – from gender identity to the increasingly conflicting relationship between man and nature, up to the body-technology dialectic and also creates Historical or Time Capsules located in the Central Pavilion which represent artists.
Italian Pavilion
Gian Maria Tosatti (born 1981) unique artist and curator of Eugenio Viola: accustomed to working on environmental works, Tosatti alone knows how to deal well with a unique pavilion at his disposal. The exhibition itinerary unfolds on the notes of Gino Paoli and Ornella Vanoni through Storia della Notte and Destino delle Comete. Industrial spaces with machinery and then typical settings of Italian houses, floors, chandeliers, up to the last dark room …
Fuori Biennale
Massimo Minini gallery presents Anish Kapoor alle Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice and Palazzo Manfrin, where he will open the Anish Kapoor Fundation. The exhibition curated by Taco Dibbits which presents works made with Vantablack, the black color recorded by Kapoor which absorbs 99.6% of light. Impossible to understand the depth of each work !!

Zuecca Project presents just passed away Hermann Nitsch with the 20th Painting Action, that is the twentieth pictorial action created for the 1987 Wiener Secession. It is the only “action” of the artist whose works from a single collection, that of Helmut Essl, made possible thanks to the Galerie Kandlhofer and the Hermann Nitsch Foundation.
The artist’s studio as a work and creation space in Contrapposto Studies in Bruce Nauman curated by Carlos Basualdo and Caroline Bourgeois at Punta della Dogana.
Also to remind us of what happens in Ukraine, the artist Louise Nevelson (1899- 1988) with her large large-scale installations, but also white and gold works at the Procuratorie Vecchie.
Bosco Sodi at Palazzo Vendramin Grimani in Venice. An art residence open to the public in which Sodi worked to prepare, for example, its 195 spheres in natural materials (such as states) to be inserted in the halls of the building, in contrast to the magnificent Murano chandelier.
